think about this moment..time reaches infinity both forwards and backwards from it...considering that, this particular moment is infinitely small..therefore every point in time is infinitely small and some what meaningless...it applies to everything around it too.. that simply questions our place in this universe as per a time line is concerned............!!! you never know, this might be the best moment you ever had....:) so enjoy life!

Guidelines to Enhance Your Travel Photography

Guidelines to Enhance Your Travel Photography
Once the excitement of your holiday has faded and you have returned to your regular life, having a
portfolio of your travel photographs are a good way of bringing back the good memories. As long as it's
good however, so here are a few ways in which you can improve it.
Go for the Close Up
The fact is that so many potentially great shots can be ruined simply because so many superfluous
elements have been included. This will essentially remove some of the focus from the real subject of the
photograph and the impact will thus be diminished. Moving closer to the point where only the real focus
of what you wish to record is within shot. By eliminating any unnecessary content the impact of the shot
you are looking for will be greatly increased.
Take Care with Landmarks
If your intention is to show your partner standing with an important landmark then you don't want them
to be literally overshadowed by it. Otherwise you will find you will have something that looks pretty
much any other picture postcard and the personal intent will be missing. Therefore, the best idea is to
focus on the individual, make sure you have them as you want them and then simply include the
landmark and a kind of background storytelling element. This will ensure your photos are both personal
and special.
Go for the Angle
Unfortunately, most amateur photographers tend to take a whole batch of pictures from exactly the
same angle -- that is in the upright position with the subject at eye level. You can make your body of
work far better and far more interesting if you mix up the angles a little. In other words try stooping
every now and then and shoot your subject at an upward angle. Alternatively, hold the camera above
head height and remember that you don't necessarily have to have the camera pressed up to your face
to get a good shot.
Make Sure you Include a Live Subject
Often times when reviewing your photographs, whether they are of a particular landmark, a scene or
landscape, you may find that you feel there is something missing. Well for the most part this missing
element will be simply a living breathing being. If you don't have someone you wish to include in the
shot, make sure you wait for someone to pass through the scene. In fact, this could even be an animal
such as a cat.
Concentrate on the Light
You may often find that a pretty average shot of a pretty average scene or landmark can turn out to be
quite spectacular simply because you have captured an interesting shot with regards to the light.
Sometimes in fact a boring scene can be transformed as the light passes through a tree or the yellow
light from a street lamp hits the shady street. The important factor here is patience -- wait until the light
is right.

Reply to Ramu Manivannan : "UPA Government May Not Be Able To Continue With The Anti-Tamil Policies"
From the start the writer is on the wrong foot. The heading itself says that "UPA Government May Not Be Able To Continue With The Anti-Tamil Policies". So he is under the impression that the Sri Lankan government does not do any good for the Tamils. Again he goes onto say "after the 60-year struggle for political equality and dignity for the Tamils in the island nation ended in May 2009″,now if he means a power devolution or a separate land from the phrase quality then he will be another day dreamer like many others since the general public of Sri Lanka will not accept it.
People like you always try to blame the Government and the rulling heads but what they forget is that they are been elected by the people who back there decisions.Genaral Public of Sri Lanka will never allow a power devolution no matter who's in power. So stop writing about it either. There are so many development projects going on around the country after the war and if any one could sat only Sinhalees are benefited by those then I don't have any words to describe that idiot. This is not even a topic to talk on the center stage now.
Tamil Nadu has there own issues but they keep worrying about the Tamils in the North and East. Also they have forgotten that Tamil Population in the Western/South is greater than the north. All these are just political crap which will do no good.

"Fool me once, shame on you; Fool me twice, shame on me".
Please General, we Loved you as a Brave Soldier & the Commander of our Victorious Army. We didn't like how you couldn't get along with the Navy or the AirForce. But, there's no denying the fact that you were one of the Pillars (along with Mahinda & Gotabaya) on which the War was won!
It's a shame that you were egotistical enough to mistake the adulation you got from the general public to be something more than that (or they like you more than this president). It's a shame that you got conned into politics against the very people who made you a hero (promoting you just before you were to be retired and faded into the shadows), by a opposition so bankrupt as ours! It's a shame that you thought the majority view in Colombo & among the most elite in this country are actual representation of the views of the masses (FYI: it's not!)! .. and it's a shame that you believed the support you got from outside was an indication of their Love for you !
Don't do that again! Don't go shopping (kade yanta) for the bankrupt politicians of this country! Don't get into politics and muddy your name forever! Actually stay away from it as far away as possible! Work for the betterment of people from outside (there are many ways you can do that).
Stay a hero! We Love You! But, you don't make a good politician! Sorry!
